Fourth Quarter 2007 News Headlines

This simple database has news headlines from the last three months of 2007. Headlines are collected twice per day for each category, so that there is minimal duplication of stories -- only important stories tend to run for several days.

There are six fields in the database:

Number - a counter field
Category the type of news
URL - a link to the news story (some may no longer work)
Title - the news story title
Source - the news organization reporting the story
Date - the date the title was recorded

The categories covered are: Top Stories; Business News; U.S. News; Entertainment News; Health News; Sports News and World News.
